By nature, I hate the suburbs. Too much driving and unwalkable streets. This, however, is a travesty. Orlando, Fla. has never been a bastion of good urban planning and design. Green spaces are in patches around the sprawl, but they are a non-factor in the open space realm. How is this allowed to go through? Seven miles between adjacent houses? An alley would resolve this problem rather quickly. Simply put, I could not live in this type of neighborhood.
