Cross-Sport uniforms

What if you remixed the home teams’ uniforms across sports?

I was recently tipped to an article about swapping uniforms by the local sports teams, and I’m intrigued by the concept. Let’s take a look at them, shall we……

LOS ANGELES……with Angel City, the Rams’ basketball attire looks a little too-Warrior-esque for the taste buds. Maybe wait until the post-LBJ years……..Meanwhile, the Lakers’ gridiron looks out-LSU‘s Louisiana State. Mainly because I always wanted to see the Bayou Bengals have some trim on those jersey numbers. However, make the numbers white with gold trim. Purp and Yellow are complimentary, you don’t want the look working too well.

MIAMI……In Vice City, the Dolphins’ hoop jerseys work well, tamer versions of the Heat’s Miami Vice uniforms. Some Jimmy Johnson-era navy trim could circus this look up…….the Heat’s tackle football look……clean!

DALLAS…….Cowboys’ hoop attire is a little too meh from me. Using blue and white would look better going all-in with the Blue Star layout…. Mavericks football, the white helmet–and a lot of navy–prevents a Lions look. So, it works.

CHICAGO…….Trippin’ off Bears basketball attire (I do appreciate the blue being darker than Illinois’ blue), not trippin’ off Bulls football attire. A red helmet would be more effective.

NEW ORLEANS……..The Big Easy is doing it right with the Saints hoop jerseys. Just keep the home jerseys as gold please……Pelicans on the gridiron, I’ll pass judgement until I see what a red–or navy–and gold combination looks like.
